A No Cost GSM opener offers a number of solutions to open gates, doors, shutters and barriers by a simple phone call. Simply dial a number to open your device. Your call is received and the GSM system recognises the number sending a signal to operate the device. The signal to open is given before the call is 'dropped' without any cost to the user making the call.Don't waste time scrolling through your contact list, simply set up a speed dial option on the phone.
How Does The GSM Opener Work?
- The unit is fitted with a SIM Card (not provided)
- Up to 300 numbers can be programmed on the Sim card.
- When access is required, a call is made to the SIM card number.
- The unit allows rings once twice to acknowledge the call and to allow the unit to read the number calling it - Caller ID.
- The GSM unit looks for a match for the phone number calling, if that number is programmed into the Sim card database the open command is given to activate the on-board relay - opening the device.
- If there is no match the call is simply ignored.
